Overview

In 2008, the Bishop of Chichester invited HTB to plant into St Peter’s, Brighton, a landmark church known locally as the ‘cathedral of Brighton’.

Rev. Archie Coates, former associate vicar at HTB, became the new vicar of St. Peter’s in October 2009, joined by c. fifty members of HTB’s London congregation. By early 2017, St Peter’s was running its 48th Alpha course, a homeless shelter every Saturday, and had a worshipping community of c. 1,400.
