Leadership Development

Leadership development plays a key role in our vision to plant and revitalise churches that will transform society.

The Revitalise Trust’s training programmes are designed to equip church leaders for the different contexts in which they serve and empower them for effective, sustainable church leadership.

The Peter Stream is a one-year programme to be undertaken whilst in the existing Church of England discernment process and is designed to encourage the gifts and calling of people from the three most underrepresented groups - racial, social and educational.

Our vision is to see a generation of church leadership that reflects and inspires the diversity of the Body of Christ.

The Caleb Stream is a one-year pathway for ordained ministry in the Church of England, designed specifically for mature and experienced leaders.

With often one priest assigned to serve multiple rural parishes, this stream aims to train and mobilise a generation rich in Christian leadership and life experience to serve in parishes across the UK.

Accelerate is an exclusive programme for final-year curates ahead of planting or revitalising a church in the HTB Network. There are two streams - Multiply and Neighbourhood. The Multiply Stream is for leaders who will be planting resource churches in towns or cities and will go on to start their own church planting journey over the coming years. The Neighbourhood Stream is curated for leaders who are planting churches in estates, villages and residential areas with significant deprivation.
