The Rt Revd and Rt Hon Lord Chartres of Wilton KCVO was Bishop of London from 1995 to 2017 and is a Patron of CRT. Bishop Richard is married to Caroline and has four children.
Revd Prebendary Dr Woyin Karowei Dorgu is the 13th Bishop of Woolwich. He was consecrated in Southwark Cathedral on St Patrick’s Day 17th March 2017 and is a Patron of CRT. Bishop Karowei is married to Mosun and they have an adult son, Timi, who is married to Ife.
Bimpe Nkontchou is a dually qualified lawyer, with over 30 years’ collective experience in England and in Nigeria. Bimpe is founder and Managing Principal at W8 Advisory LLP a wealth advisory practice and multi-family office which is focused on African entrepreneurs and their families. W8 Advisory has been recognized in Spears 2021 Wealth Management Index as a ‘Top Recommended’ Family Office Service provider and Bimpe has also been ranked by Spears as one of the best wealth managers in the UK. Bimpe has been a regular worshipper at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) for many years. She is a member of the Advisory Church Council (ACC) and is an elected member of the London Diocesan Synod. She is also a director-trustee of the Lambeth Conference Company, which is responsible for organizing the Lambeth Conference on behalf of the Archbishop of Canterbury, in the summer of 2022. Bimpe has a keen interest in advancing the work of the church in social transformation and discipleship.
Naomi Maxwell is the Discipleship Director, and lead pastor of Shoreditch, at SAINT in East London. After gaining an MA in Politics, Psychology and Sociology from the University of Cambridge, she joined Lambeth Palace as a parliamentary researcher to the Archbishop of Canterbury, before moving onto public affairs in the charity sector. Following a sense of call to ordination she did a Masters in Theology, Ministry and Mission, and loves getting to lead a church right in the heart of East London. Naomi is particularly passionate about empowering those on the margins to recognise God’s calling, so that the Church’s worship, discipleship and growth, will better reflect the Kingdom of God here on earth. When she’s not at her desk, Naomi can be found using the church hall for roller skating practice!
Harry is a co-founder of Kinrise. Kinrise is focussed on community enhancing investments in companies and buildings across the UK and the US. He is based between Oxfordshire and Uruguay with his wife, two daughters, two dogs and his chickens.
Jeremy Herrmann is the founder and CEO of Ferox Capital, a fund management company. He has a variety of philanthropic interests which tend to be focussed on environmental issues reflecting his passion for the countryside.
Toby Baxendale is an Entrepreneur, Investor, Ironman Triathlete (2 x World Championships at 70.3 distance), former Magistrate, published Economist, Author (theology), Philanthropist, Legatum Institute Executive Trustee, Centre for Entrepreneurs Advisor, and Family Man. He built and sold a successful fish catering and wholesale business and now he is involved with investing and supporting other entrepreneurs.
Angus Winther has spent 27 years working in the investment banking industry, primarily advising clients in the insurance and financial services industries. He co-founded Lexicon Partners and was closely involved in the leadership of that firm until it was acquired by Evercore in 2011. He served as a senior advisor at Evercore until October 2016. He is also church warden of Holy Trinity Brompton, deputy chair of the Church Revitalisation Trust, and a trustee of St Mellitus College, having previously served as a trustee of the St Pauls Theological Centre. He is married to Emma and they have three children.
Archie Coates is the Vicar of Holy Trinity Brompton, prior to which he was the Vicar of St Peter’s Brighton for 13 years. He studied Theology at Oxford University, and was Associate Vicar at HTB before planting to Brighton in 2009. Archie is married to Sam and they have four children.
Nichola Pease is the Non Executive Chair of Jupiter Fund Management PLC with over 35 years of experience in the asset management and stock broking industries. She is also the Chair of the Investment 2020 Apprenticeship scheme.
Ade Adebajo is an investment banker with over 20 years experience across global institutions. He is a qualified accountant, and an Associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Ade has been a regular worshipper at Holy Trinity Brompton (HTB) for many years. He is a member of HTB’s parochial church council (PCC), current secretary to the Chelsea Deanery Synod, and an elected member of the London Diocesan Synod. With strong Anglican roots from an upbringing in Nigeria, Ade has a passion for church unity and to re-position the church at the heart of the local community.
Sir Paul Marshall is the Chairman and CIO of Marshall Wace, a hedge fund. He is also the Chairman of Ark Schools, a chain of 40 academies, and founder of the Education Policy Institute and of the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship. Paul is married to Sabina and they have been worshipping at HTB since 1997. They have two children.
Nicky Gumbel is the pioneer of Alpha, an introduction to the Christian faith running in churches of all denominations in 140 countries. He has written several best-selling books including Why Jesus?, Questions of Life, and The Jesus Lifestyle. Having initially trained as a barrister, Nicky went on to oversee Holy Trinity Brompton – a large central London church. Married to Pippa, they now work to support Alpha globally. They are also the authors of a daily Bible commentary called the ‘Bible in One Year’ which has over two million global subscribers.
